TrabelsiHi everybody,
I know you won't care much, but I'm a Riyadah Wal Adab supporter. I'm happy about our season so far, we're excedding our expectations since we've got now 7 points from 4 games. Our aim this season was to avoid the drop to division 3 but now we're somehow near the top of the table. I don't think we'll get promoted to division because "ma ma3na negleh". It's really sad how our club have turned from title contenders in the early 90's to a 2nd division team, all of this is thanks to Al Karameh "alboukhala2"(abkhal men hek ma fi).
By the way is there anybody from Tripoli on this board?
Salam to all

samiSure man...
i am from tripoli and i was the first fan of alriyadah wal adab... but unfortunately they are in a very bad situation right now.
actually the problem is not in the players because we had excellent young players that can make an excellent team if they stayed together and all of them are playing right now in the first division i mention:
Ziad samad in ansar, Abdul fatah Samad in Salam, Ibrahim Hosni in Sagesse, Hassan Nashabeh in Sahel, Hussein mustafa and rami sabouneh in Akhaa and others ( i don't know if Said abboushi is still in Nejmeh...) actually i feel very sad when i remember the good times i spent in Tripoli stadium when Riyada used to beat all the clubs even Nejmeh and Tadamon which are the best clubs right now ... but man it is about money and politics and unfortunately we have the worst man on the top of this club (omar karameh) and he doesn't care and he is the reason of the bad situation of the club... i am really ashamed to know that Riyadah is playing this season only to stay in 2nd division (how ambitious is that) any way i think that there is no way to see riyadah in the first division again that's why i am now a Tadamon fan (but i still feel something when i hear about riyadah).
by the way, i would like to stay in touch with you trabelsi may be i know you if u was a riyadah fan so feel free to contact me by email at skhorbotly@hotmail.com.
TrabelsiGlad to see another Riyadah fan on board.
I agree with you it is sad to see club in its current compared to the exciting days of the past. Riyadah have played this season only once in Tripoli up until now, and I was there to watch the game(ended in a 2-2 draw) and believe me it was still fun sitting with the fans there(even if the size of the crowd was small), the humour in the crowd is still there .
I haven't given up hope yet that the club may one day come back to division 1, but that will happen only if the current club board changes, because as you've said we've never had problems in blooding talented youngsters in the side(the current side is full of youngsters who would do well if someone takes care of them properly), so here's hoping one day our fortunes will change.
Saeed Abboushi is a friend of mine(I'm from Mina), and he is still with Nejmeh, but he had sustained a knee injury last year and is not likely to play this season(he's just started to run recently). You can check his personal website if you want(you can check it for a laugh): www.geocities.com/saiid974
By the way, what are your favorite memories of Riyadah playing in Tripoli's stadium?
My personal favorite memories, were always games against Salam. There was always great passion in these games, and the jokes that used to be cracked around in the stadium during those games used to bring me to death
