Antar is one of a kind in the Bundesliga!

The first team inclusion of Roda Antar was the major surprise of the evening, as HSV took a share of the spoils at the famous Betzenberg stadium in Kaiserslautern. The Lebanese youngster got the nod ahead of the Iranian international Mehdi Mahdavikia.
The match was a special one for Antar. He had previously only been used as a substitute, last night he became the very first Lebanese player to play a full 90 minutes of Bundesliga football.
Antar did his job well. He provided the pinpoint cross for Romeo's equaliser, he then launched a long range screamer from 20 metres which went agonisingly over the bar. It seems that his weakness is defensive work. He hardly saw the light of day against 'Lautern's veteran midfielder Mario Basler.

mohamad alkhatib It's really a wonderful thing,do u know why?cause having or doing such acheivment is not easy,u don't believe how much i was very proud about Roda Anatar when i showed my Germany friend in the Uni tht we have a lebanese player in H.S.V.
I hope to see more players playing overseas,and i hope more tht their teams give them the chance to tht.
Believe we have heips of players in Lebanon tht are able to play overseas,but the problem we have one Ali Ahamd.

future_boss It is a great thing 4 us lebanese 2 have a player abroad...raising our minds...imagine...u watching the boubisliga and suddenly u c a the lebanese flag.....reda is representing us alll.......and i hope 2 c others..so we will have a powerfull mountakab!!!!
