Cardoso and Antar – HSV practices job sharing
Bild Zeitung

Kurt Jara praised Roda Antar (21) for his convincing performance in the match against Bremen: “He has shown that he can become a great player.“ However, Jara also made clear the following: “Rodolfo Cardoso (33) will be in the starting line-up in the match against Nuremberg.”
Cardoso’s place is secure in home matches and when Hamburg needs to be the pressing force. His creativity is vital for the team’s success. Jara: “Roda has not yet got Rodolfo’s class and skills.“
However, the Lebanese player is somebody Jara can count on. As has been already the case against Kaiserslautern (2:2), it was Antar’s turn again in the away match in Bremen. Jara: “I wanted to field the player with the strongest physical abilities.“ Especially in the first half the youngster did a very good job.
“Home-Cardoso“ and “Away-Antar“ – is that Jara’s future concept?
“This will not become the rule. Maybe we will even try both of them side by side.“ This is likely to be the exception, as Jörg Albertz is another midfielder with strong forward and attacking skills. And defending should not be forgotten while everyone plays up front ... "
