The Lebanese team faces “Mika” the Armenian team today

The first Lebanese national team faces today at 3:00 pm. a friendly match with the Armenian team “Mika” at Tripoli stadium.

It is the first game for the Lebanese national team since its participation in the 8th Arab cup which was held in Kuwait and the team went out from the preliminaries after winning its match against Yemen (4-2), and even the score with Bahrain (0-0) and loosing to Saudi Arabia (0-1) and Syria (1-4).

The technical director for the team Richard Tardy choose 24 players including 5 players who were called for the first time since Tardy’s started his functions and they are : Ahmad koubaisy (Neijmeh), Riyad Koubaisy (Tadamoun sour), Ali el Attar (Ahed), Abbas Saleh (Ansar) and Hassan Istanbouli (Bourj).

As for “Mika” ranked 6th in the Armenian league with 33 points in the last season and the winner of the Armenian cup for the two consecutive seasons 2000 and 2001, is holding a training camp in Tripoli since ten days in preparation for the beginning of their national league season in the up coming spring.

It is worth knowing that the planned matches with Nejmeh 2nd in the league and Tadamoun Sour 4th in the league where canceled due to the bad weather condition.
