Lebanon’s Olympic Football Team
leaves to United Arab Emirates next Monday
The
Lebanese Olympic Football team’s delegation leaves for UAE next
Monday to meet with Emirates Olympic Team in a friendly game to
be held on Wednesday the 12th in
Abu Dhabi.
This match is
within the extensive team’s preparation plan to meet the
Jordanian team in Asian qualification for Athens 2004 at Beirut
Municipal stadium Saturday the 5th of April and in
the Amman – Jordan on the 19th of it.
The Lebanese
team is preparing itself to meet the Syrian team in a friendly
match on Tuesday the 18th of March at Beirut
Municipal Stadium. It is worth mentioning that the Lebanese team
has gone through a extensive training camp in Qatar were he
played the Qatari team twice wining both matches (2-0), (1-0).
The Delegation
is presided by Mr. Georges Soulage , member of LFA and chairman
of the national teams ‘ committee, the delegation includes:
Rashid Nassar (Manager), Richard Tardi (Head Coach), Wissam
Khalil (Assistance), Adnan Itani (GK Coach), Jihad Haddad
(Physician), Wassim Sabra (Media), Ziad Mezher (Equipments'
responsible).
