Antar signs for SC Freiburg

Berlin, July 2 (Lebanese-Football) - The Lebanese International Roda Antar moved to Bundesliga's new side SC Freiburg. The 22-year-old midfielder signed with the newly promoted club for two years where his new contract will finish on June 30, 2005.
Note that the first Lebanese professional player signed for Hamburger SV two years ago where he played 23 matches and scored two goals
. Roda had great setback after he suffered an injury two months ago and he had to undergo a surgery in his foot. Antar was quoted by Freiburg's trainer Volker Finke that he will surely use Roda after his convalescence in the offensive line mainly because of the "different and alternative qualities he got" Finke told SC Freiburg's official website.
