LOC held an unusual general
assembly on October 17, 2001, and elected Hashem Haidar, the
newly elected president of the Lebanese Football Association, as
Vice President in place of the former LFA president Dr. Nabeel
El-Raei. The assembly was attended by 19 federations out of the
24 voting federations.

The general assembly thanked Dr. Nabeel El-Raei for his efforts
during his term. On the other hand, the newly elected Vice
president Hashem Haidar thanked the general assembly for their
trust, and assured his cooperation.
