LFA committee ends the contract with national team coach Theo Boker October 27, 2001

German Theo Boker, the national team coach, returned to Germany on Saturday October 27, 2001 after reaching a friendly settlement with LFA committee to end his contract.

Boker (53 years old) whose original contract ends on the coming Dec 31st. 2001 stated the following: " I understand the reasons that led the Lebanese Football Association to dissolve all the technical boards of the Lebanese national teams, and eventually ending my contract. Meanwhile, I didn't lose the chance to coach in Lebanon, or work in other Arab countries. There were negotiations with Lebanese Sagesse Sports Club to coach their team that was about to effect, but apparently there seems to be some conflicts inside the club although my connections with Technical Manager Emile Rustom are still in effect.
