Sporting meeting for the “ stars” of the Olympic Beirut club At the Lebanese Faculty of Law 21-02-2003

The sports commission of the students Board at the Lebanese Faculty of Law and political science organized a meeting with the “ stars” of the Olympic Beirut club team: Pierre Issa, Ahmad Al Sakr, Faisal Antar and the coaches Mohammad Al Sahel & Jihad Mahjoub as well as the official of the club Chafiq Taher. This meeting was held on the occasion of holding the yearly sporting tournament of the Faculty.

Taher opened the discussion, attended by a large group of students, explaining the targets of the club, mainly the establishment of a sporting corporation with numerous sports including Football. And the foundation of a sports school to initiate the Lebanese Talents to enable them to play at the professional leagues.

Taher revealed that the work on the construction of the Olympic city, within the saadiat area will be soon launched and he projected that this facility will be among the best sporting facilities in the neighboring countries.

Afterwards, the players spoke about their experience with the Olympic Beirut Team and they expressed their comfort to be in a club that appreciates their performances and works always to provide the necessary means for their success and glory.

Afterwards, the guests answered the questions of the students with audacity and decency. At the end, the guests distributed souvenirs gifts to the students according to a draw in a light atmosphere and the wishes of success for the Olympic Beirut team.

The guests announced that according to the organizing committee’s wishes they will announce the official opening of the Faculty tournament and expressed their desire to meet the faculty’s team in a friendly match.
