Mr Haydar: the final decision regarding the participation in the Arab Club Championship will be taken next Monday

The President of the Lebanese Football Federation confirmed that the final decision of the participation of Lebanon in the qualifications of the 4th group for the finals of the 2nd Arab Club championship will be taken next Monday in light of Mr. Georges Soulage’s report who represented Lebanon in the meetings of the Arab Football Federation’s secretary Generals in Cairo.
He added that the Federation will take into consideration the dates set by the Arab Federation for the qualifications of the 4th group hosted by Faisaly Club in Jordan from 12 to 15 May with the participation of the Palestinian club Aqsa and the Syrian Army and the representative of Club”.
Mr. Bahi Hamzeh, LFA Secretary General emphasized on the fact that Lebanon is determined to participate in the different Arab Championship, moreover , if the representation in this championship is limited to the winner of the previous local season, then I believe that Nejmeh Club will represent Lebanon.
It was also mentioned that the federation will study carefully the dates of the qualifications matches of the 4th group and the program of the remaining matches of the local championship and Lebanon’s Cup that has reached the quarter- final.
