Nejmeh to meet Olympic Beirut in the final of Lebanon's Cup
Nejmeh qualified to the final of Lebanon's Cup after their [0-0] draw with Homentmen in the match which was held on Beirut Municipality Stadium. Thus Nejmeh qualified after [2-0] lead in aggregate to meet Olympic Beirut in the final on July 5, 2003

Olympic Beirut to the final of Lebanon's Cup
 
Olympic Beirut qualified to the final of Lebanon's cup after their [1-1] draw with Salam Zgharta in the match which was held on Beirut Municipality Stadium. The goals were scored by Silvio 6' for Olympic and Francois Kharma 40' for Salam. Thus Olympic Beirut qualified after [3-2] lead in aggregate to meet the winner of today's [26-06-2003] match between Homentmen and Nejmeh in the final on July, 5, 2003.

The LFA's decisions
 

The High Committee of the LFA made some changes on the last matches of the Final round of both the Relegation and Goldens Squares of the Lebanese Championship where the latter's matches will be played on Saturday and the former's on Sunday when Olympic Beirut will be crowned as Lebanon's champions. more

Olympic Beirut win the Championship's title.
 
Olympic Beirut won their first Lebanese Championship title yesterday [21-06-2003], after their 0-0 draw with Ahed in the 2nd round of the [Golden Square]. Therefore, Olympic managed to get the one-needed point to secure the title despite Nejmeh's 1-0 wins against Ansar in the old-rivals' derby with a goal scored by M. Ghadar 28'. more

Chaaban to play for Farnborough
 

The Lebanese English-born player Ali Chaaban moved to Farnborough Town of the Conference Division in England where the signing of the 21-year-old player will be a great boost for Lebanese football. 

If Ali will turn into a professional player, then he will follow the footsteps of Roda Antar; the first Lebanese professional player who signed for the Bundesliga side Hamburg SV last year.

AFC Futsal Championship 2003

Lebanon will make its debut in Futsal when the National Futsal team will play in the AFC Futsal Championship which will be played in Iran starting next July. Lebanon were grouped in Group C with the hosts Iran (four-time Asian Futsal Champions), China and Kyrgzstan.

-New: The Lebanese coach Fouad el Halabi will coach Ikhaa in its remaining match in the final round of the Relegation Square next Saturday; 28-06-2003 against Bourj. Note that El Halabi will continue to coach the team next season in the second division. more
