The alliance of
fans of Lebanese clubs is preparing itself to support the Olympic
Team in its match against Jordan on the 5th of April on
Beirut Stadium within the Asian qualification for the Olympic Games
2004.

Mr. Baha El Din Hariri tours to Nejmeh Stadium
We
will reconstruct it on a new basis.
Baha-El-Din Al-Hariri
visited on 28 March 2003 the football field in
‘Manara’ during a visit with a delegation
which
included Hachem-Al-Khatib president of Lebanon’s Oger Studies Co.
and Muhib Itani. This is his first visit after the election of a new
management board for the club.
Al-Hariri and the accompanying delegation were greeted by the Nejmeh
Club Management Board headed by Mohammad Fenej, as well Samir
Al-Adou, the technical team and the players.

The
alliance of Clubs’ fans to support the Olympic National team.
A
meeting was held in Olympic Beirut Club
HQ,
working with the
recommendations of the Lebanese Football Federation.
The participants studied the steps to be taken to insure the best
follow-up for the Lebanese Olympic team in his next important match
against the Jordanian team, which will take place in Beirut on April
5th, 2003 at 08:30pm
The members
representatives stressed during the meeting to adopt the necessary
measures in order to win the title awaited by the public, and to
confirm the national unity in bringing together all sister clubs
fans, and to stand united with firm support behind the national
team.
Agreement was reached for a second meeting to be held, hosted by the
Nejmeh Club at ‘Al-Tariq-Al-Jadideh’ this afternoon at 3pm to
follow-up all incoming events.

Ali Chaaban arrived to Lebanon to join the National
Team
21 years old, Ali
Chabaan arrived to
Beirut last Friday to Join the National Olympic Football Team. Ali
is Lebanese from the southern town Ansar and he holds the English
passport.
He was received by the directors of national teams at the LFA Rashid
Nassar along with Mazen Ramdan member of the committee as well as
his family members who expressed their happiness in his return and
to represent his country in Football. Ali will starts his training
on Monday with the players of the Olympic National Team , and will
play against Syria Olympic Team tomorrow 18 March 2003 at 5:00 pm
(Beirut Time) hoping that he will be part of the team that will face
Jordan on the 5th & 19th of April

The
alliance of Clubs’ fans to support the Olympic National team.
The Lebanese Football Federation invited the alliance of the
club’s fans to a meeting held yesterday at the Federation’s H.Q.
in which they discussed the best ways to support the Football
National Olympic team in its match against Jordan on the 5th
of April within the frame of the Asian qualification for Athens
2004.
During this meeting , it has been agreed to continue to
coordinate between the alliance of Clubs’ fans and to hold a
meeting at the H.Q of the Olympic club Beirut at 5.30 on
Thursday.

The Nejmeh Club Committee held its first meeting on 14, March 2003
at 9:00 am in Nejmeh Club's office at Tarik El Jadideh, to assign
duties to the elected members, The duties are assigned as follows:

Lebanon lost to
Emirates [1-2]
In a friendly match that
took place on 12 March 2003 at 5:00 p.m [Beirut
Time] in Abu Dahbi City in UAE, the Lebanese National Olympic Team
lost to Emariti National Olympic Team [1-2] the first goal of the
match scored by the Lebanese Player Adham Ghadar. Emirates won the
game at the last minute, the Lebanese players provided a good
performance in this match.

Nejmeh club avoids a rough battle The majority for Baha’a Eddine
Hariri, Assaad instead of Baroudi at the Last minute
Under the
motto “ to the victory of Nejmeh Club” the General Assembly
succeeded in overcoming the crisis that nearly stoke the club and
threatened to drag everyone to a bone breaking battle caused by the
tension that has dominated the preparation and the negotiations to
reach a unified list.

Bourj Club suspend Souhail Rahal
The Executive Committee of Bourj Club held an extraordinary session
yesterday and took the following decisions:
-To apply fully to the decision of the Lebanese Football Federation.
-To suspend the club’s Vice-President Souhail Rahal -To hold
accountable each of the two players Adel Hassan and Adel Jaloul
-To thank coach Fouad Halabi for his efforts.
-To invite the fans of bourj club to support its team in this
critical stage and to commit to civilized and moral cheering.

Olympic Football Team leaves to United Arab Emirates next Monday
The Lebanese Olympic Football team’s delegation leaves for UAE next
Monday to meet with Emirates Olympic Team in a friendly game to be
held on Wednesday the 12th in Abu Dhabi.

Extreme
sanctions for Bourj Club
The LFA decided to annul 6 points
from its credit
The Executive
Committee of the Lebanese Football Federation decided to sanction
the Bourj Club in a strict manner for disrupting their latest match
with the Olympic Beirut Club in the course of the Lebanese
Championship after it became clear to the committee the team’s
players have missed the legal quorum of the game which lead to
stopping the match. These sanctions imply on all the teams who
withdraw on purpose from the matches as per the bylaws of the
federation 12-14.
